Jeremy Kronbach’s art is deeply informed by his world travels. From his adolescence in West Africa to his more recent exploration of Central America, Jeremy has captured the vivid colors from these places and translated them to canvas. His painting process is similar to the traveling process itself. As the layers reveal their nuance, some elements remain, their weight and significance undeniable, and others are covered over by new information as the journey continues. Incorporating pure abstraction, elements of cultural motif and the occasional representational object, his work reads as the chronicle of his life abroad. Artist present.

I later switched to abstract work and have been focusing exclusively on abstract expressionism. Abstract expressionism is my way of expressing thoughts and feelings. My art brings abundant joy, relaxation and fulfillment to me because it offers me the chance to express the beauty of life. I'm in my element when I paint. I paint, therefore I am. When I paint, I think about people, emotions, travel, my intercultural experiences, and the beautiful world we live in. I believe that life is beautiful in that it is imperfect, and human beings are wonderful in that they are different. To me, the vibrant colors, bold concepts and imperfect shapes and lines found in my art celebrate the beauty, the difference, the mystery, the free spirit, the controversy, the passion, the non-conformity, the wonder. Children are a great inspiration to me as well, further contributing to the burst of positive energy I feel and portray in my art."
