"Inc." ~ where wall meets canvas tasks mural artists with "incorporating" the walls into the canvas hung in front of them. Each artist or team was designated an area of wall space in the gallery to do whatever they wanted to it and the whole group was given the outside entry wall to the gallery to collaborate on. The artists were given 4 days leading up to the show and without giving too much away... you're going to be amazed at the evolution of our venue. Artists present.

Gainsbourg: 8550 Greenwood Ave N
Best known for his surrealistic cityscapes and sultry portraits, Ethan Jack Harrington’s paintings provide viewers with a whimsical perspective of the constantly evolving world. As a plein-air oil painter, the artist captures scenes in-person, in real-time; when a subject earns his attention, Harrington sets up his easel on a sidewalk, rooftop or in an alley and quickly paints the area as he sees it at that moment. Influenced and taught by his father Jack Harrington, a professional impressionistic oil painter and illustrator, Harrington has painted professionally for 20 years. His intensely unique style and skill has developed into what is now an easily recognizable trademark among collectors.

Influences range from simply having an architect dad and a builder brother, to having lost her apartment and its contents including her art work to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, to looking back at the Denny Regrade as her current studio on Western Avenue is slated for demise to make room for the tunnel, to a desire to reclaim and recycle by using recycled canvases, nails from the ReStore, and appropriated objects recovered from industrial building projects.
